ASU Law - Reciprocity Policy

RECIPROCITY POLICY

The Career Services Office at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University provides limited access to its resources for 3L students and graduates of other law schools under the conditions set forth below:

1.            Reciprocity services are available on a one-to-one basis to students and graduates of accredited law schools that allow Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law students and graduates to use their facilities and employment resources.

2.            Services may be denied to 3L students/graduates of any school seen to surpass a reasonable number of requests or which limits the number of requests by our students or graduates.

3.            Requests for services must be made in writing by a career counseling official of the law school that the 3L student/graduate attends/attended. A letter requesting reciprocity for the specific named individual must be received by the College of Law Career Services Office from the individual’s law school career services office before services will be provided. The 3L student/graduate must wait for his/her written letter of approval from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and must personally present it upon each visit to the Career Services Office.

4.            Services available to reciprocity student/graduates include access to the Career Services Office current job listings contained in the Immediate Job binder for a period not to exceed three months from the date of the first visit to our office.

5.            Services not available to reciprocity students/graduates include: counseling services; Internet access; password-protected services and online job listings; computers; copiers; telephones; and job placement programs.

6.            No services will be provided between August 1 and November 30 of each year due to On-Campus Interviewing. Reciprocity 3L students/graduates may not participate in on-campus interviewing or resume collections.

7.            If any problems arise with a reciprocity recipient, we reserve the right to notify the requesting school and terminate the student/graduate’s privileges.

8.            Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University reserves the right to alter this policy without advance notice.

9.            Requests for reciprocity may be directed to:
