Applying for State Bar Examinations

Each state has its own requirements regarding admission to the Bar. You should investigate the rules with respect to each state where you think you are likely to seek admission to the Bar. The ABA's "Comprehensive Guide to Bar Admission Requirements," which provides information about each state's bar exam, is available at: http://www.ncbex.org/comprehensive-guide-to-bar-admissions/

Students interested in being admitted to practice in states other than Arizona are encouraged to contact the Committee of Bar Examiners directly in each state where the Bar is to be taken. A directory of State Bar Admissions Offices is available at http://www.abanet.org/legaled/baradmissions/barcont.html

Third-year students and graduates should send their state bar certification forms (e.g. moral character or bar exam certifications) to the law school’s Registrar for completion.
