Law Students for Veterans Affairs
The purposes of Law Students for Veterans Affairs is to promote the interests of Veterans Law practitioners and Military Law practitioners to plan, participate in, conduct, and publish, as appropriate, services, programs, publications and activities of interest to persons in the legal profession with respect to Veterans Law and Military Law (as the latter affects military service members transitioning from military to veteran status); to promote and monitor the development of Veterans Law; promote high standards of professional competence and ethical conduct; to adopt public positions on matters concerning Veterans Law and Military Law affecting veteran status and dispute resolution in both the public and private sectors; and to assist other organizations wishing to sponsor programs within the community.
