Judicial icon, groundbreaking Arizonan Sandra Day O’Connor dies at 93
The Arizona State University community mourns the loss of Sandra Day O’Connor, a true pioneer of Arizona and our nation. The university’s law school and its center in Washington D.C. bear the name of the former Justice, who was a trailblazing leader for justice, equality and the law, and an amazing human. ASU will carry her legacy forward for future generations, deeply honored to be graced by her name and directed by her passion for legal and civic education

The Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy and the American Indian Policy Institute’s Indigenous Leadership Academy launched the Tribal Energy Leaders Fellowship (TELF), a first-of-its-kind program designed to strengthen Indigenous leadership in the self-determined pursuit of clean energy.
The Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University has launched the Civil Rights, Migration and Workplace Law Initiative, a new effort dedicated to advancing justice through education, scholarship and community engagement.
