Robert Rosette
The ASU Law community is saddened to learn of the passing of alumnus Robert Rosette. Robert received his JD from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law in 1996. Robert is the Founder and Managing Partner of Rosette, LLP and has been a pillar in Federal Indian law. His generosity and support led to the establishment of the Rosette, LLP, American Indian Economic Development Program, and he served on the Advisory Council for the Indian Legal Program at ASU Law. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.

ASU Law welcomed its newest JD, LLM and master’s students during fall 2026 orientation with a message of belonging, community and purpose. As students begin their legal education through different paths and with varied goals, they are also joining the college during a milestone year that celebrates ASU Law’s legacy while looking toward the future they will help shape.
New identity better reflects the organization’s commitment to strengthening the position of Tribal Nations in law and policy.
