ASU Law hires David Gelfand to head antitrust program
David Gelfand, one of the country’s leading antitrust lawyers, joins ASU Law as professor of practice and the Sims Chair in Competition Law and Regulation to establish the Antitrust Law program and expand the school’s work in this important area of law. Joe Sims, an ASU Law alumnus and nationally renowned antitrust lawyer, recently established the chair.

Originally from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Osama Kandil came to ASU Law to pursue a Master of Laws degree and strengthen his expertise in international and comparative law. Through hands-on experiences like ASU Law’s Clinical Program and connections with fellow students, Kandil found community far from home while preparing for a future career with an international law firm.
