Sustainability Law Student Research Fellowship Program

The Sustainability Law Student Research Fellowship Program gives students opportunities to produce publication-quality articles on current legal and policy topics related to environmental sustainability.

Participating Fellows research and write full-length law journal articles on environmental sustainability law topics, receiving at least 10 iterations of faculty feedback during the research and writing process. They also workshop their project with other Fellows and give a formal presentation of their project to students from across the law school.

All 44 articles that Fellows have authored through this program during its inception have received publication offers in non-academic journals. These articles address such cutting-edge topics as:

  • Precision fertilizing
  • Wind and solar energy
  • Office-to-residential conversions
  • CO2 pipeline subsidies
  • Environmental justice
