The LENS - June 2026

Summer is here and we are looking ahead. I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to the ASU Law community for your continued support, collaboration and commitment to excellence. Serving as Dean has been an incredible privilege, and I am proud of all we have accomplished together in support of our students, faculty, staff, alumni and overall legal community. While this issue of The LENS marks my farewell, it also offers an opportunity to warmly welcome Vice Dean and Charles J. Merriam Distinguished Professor of Law Angela M. Banks as interim dean. I know that Justice O’Connor’s legacy and the College of Law will thrive under her thoughtful leadership and dedication to our community. Thank you for being such an important part of this journey, and for the many ways you strengthen and support our mission every day.
